Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of FinToolSuite, including this website and its services and tools. By accessing or using the site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the site and services.

These Terms of Use constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Brightscale Labs Limited (referred to as "we", "us", or "the Company"), a company registered in England and Wales (Company No. 16990009).

Educational use only

FinToolSuite services and tools are provided for informational and educational use only. Content and outputs do not constitute financial, legal, or tax advice, and they should not be treated as regulated advisory services or guarantees of outcomes.

Acceptable use

  • You must not misuse the site, scrape it, or attempt to disrupt service.
  • Do not use the tools for unlawful activity or to mislead others.
  • Respect our intellectual property and branding at all times.

Accounts and data

Accounts are not required for these tools at this time. If you share or export data (such as PDFs or CSVs), be sure to handle and store it securely.

Save to Cloud

The Save to Cloud feature is designed to store calculator-related data only (for example: tool inputs, results, and saved scenarios). We do not intentionally store personal identity information in this feature, such as your IP address, username, email address, phone number, or home address as part of saved calculator data.

Cloud-saved data is automatically deleted after 30 days unless you access that saved data within the 30-day period.

Your Cloud Access Code is a key to your saved calculator data. Do not share your code with anyone. Anyone with this code may be able to load your saved data.

Voting and community features

Some tools include anonymous community voting and benchmark insights. These features are provided for educational comparison only and do not represent financial advice, recommendations, or guarantees of outcomes.

To keep community data meaningful, voting may be limited by time windows per tool. If a vote limit is active, you may not be able to submit another vote until the waiting period ends.

You must use these features in good faith. Do not attempt to manipulate votes, automate submissions, or submit misleading inputs.

  • Unauthorised access to or alteration of your transmissions or data;
  • Any content or conduct of any third party on the service.

Financial Cap: In no event shall the Company's total aggregate liability to you for all claims arising out of or in connection with the use of the service exceed the greater of: (a) the total amount of fees paid by you to the Company (if any) in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim; or (b) £50.00 GBP.

Legal Exceptions: Nothing in these Terms shall limit or exclude our liability for:

  • Death or personal injury caused by our negligence;
  • Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;
  • Any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by the laws of England and Wales.
